Airpura C600-W — Whole House Air Purification

The Airpura C600-W provides complete, continuous air filtration for your entire home, office, workshop or classroom. It’s filtration system is identical to that of the Airpura C600 model making it a powerhouse at removing airborne chemicals, gasses and particulates.

• Multiple Install Options: Depending on HVAC configuration, you have the option to install the unit horizontally or vertically with specially designed brackets for each type of installation (Brackets sold separately). Alternatively, you can install in a free-standing orientation. 
• Continuous Air Purification: Even when your HVAV system isn’t in operation, and you’re not cooling, heating or ventilating, the air purification system will still be cleaning the air. 
• Negative/Positive Pressure: Hose attachments allow for easy set up of negative and positive air pressure rooms. Ideal for a variety of medical and commercial applications. 
• Can be configured for Source Extraction: Ability to connect polluted air intake to exhaust vent of commercial, office and workshop equipment. Ideal for salons, dental offices, print shops, art studios and wood shops.

The Airpura C600-W absorbs and traps the following from your environment in spaces up to 2000 sq. ft:

• VOC’s/Chemicals: The C600-W removes over 4000 chemicals including ammonia, formaldehyde, benzene, methylene chloride, toluene, xylene and chemicals associated with gas emissions, making your air easier and safer to breathe. These types of “Volatile Organic Compounds” are present in nearly all manufactured items.
• Airborne Particulates: Includes pet dander, mold, mycotoxins, dust, pollen, pesticides and even asbestos. Removing many of these environmental allergens can reduce allergy symptoms and the onset of more severe adverse health effects.
• Smoke: Includes wildfire, tobacco and marijuana smoke, smoke odors and their chemical byproducts. The chemicals from second-hand smoke can be absorbed by furniture and textiles, thus trapping the toxins long term.

3-Stage Comprehensive Filtration 

1. Pre-Filter — This first layer of filtration grabs and traps large particles such as hair, dust and dander,  and in doing so extends the life of the HEPA and carbon filters. It measures 570 sq. inches and 1 inch deep. Change every 12 months and vacuum clean for better performance.
2. Carbon Filter Bed — 26 lbs. of activated carbon in a 3” deep, high-quality activated carbon bed. Targets VOC’s and heavy chemical pollutants. The carbon filter will typically need changing every two years depending on air quality and usage.
3. HEPA-Barrier Post-Filter – 306 sq. in. HEPA barrier traps both carbon dust and additional airborne particulates. It may last up to two years, but ideally should be changed with each change of the carbon filter.

The Airpura Difference – Built for Health & The Environment

• No Off-Gassing: Built without the use of plastics, rubbers, or adhesives associated with emitting toxic gasses or VOC’s. The only exceptions include the presence of some materials required to meet UL, ETL, CE and CSA safety standards.

• Felt Gaskets: All gaskets are made from felt instead of rubber, which helps seal each component and create highly effective air filtration. Felt gaskets have the ability to further reduce off-gassing as well. Additionally, these units have fully sealed filter, motor, and electrical chambers.

• Metal Housing: Constructed entirely from solid steel on the outside, the reduction of plastic components in favor of metal housing contributes to the decrease in off-gassing. The all metal housing is also a more environmentally friendly material in general as it’s 93% recyclable.

• PCB Free: Electrical equipment often includes capacitors that are made from PCBs; polychlorinated biphenyls. PCBs have been associated with a variety of types of cancers. Airpura capacitors are all made with entirely PCB-free materials.

• Pure Air Flow: Engineered so that the units motor is positioned away from the flow of air. Most air purifiers are designed in a way that as air passes over the motor, new impurities are picked up before exiting the unit. Airpura air purifiers were designed to prevent this.
