3-Stage Filtration — Including G714 Super HEPA Upgrade Option:

1. Pre-Filter — An organic cotton pre-filter grabs and traps large particles such as hair, lint, dust and dander,  and in doing so extends the life of the HEPA and carbon filters. It measures 570 sq. inches and 1 inch deep. Change every 12 months and vacuum clean for better performance.
2. Carbon Filter – 18 lbs. of odorless German carbon in a 2” deep, high-quality carbon bed. The carbon filter will typically need changing every two years depending on air quality and usage.
3. True HEPA Filter — Choose Between Two Levels of HEPA Filtration
   • G700 Standard HEPA: Equipped with a 40 square foot medical-grade True HEPA filter, the G700 is able to trap up to 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns. Has a lifespan of approximately 5 years.
   • G714 Super HEPA: Upgrade to the G714 Super HEPA filter to remove up to 99.99% of airborne particles that are 0.3 microns in diameter and smaller. This is the recommended option for those with MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity) or those looking to capture the smallest of airborne particulates.

• No Off-Gassing: Built without the use of plastics, rubbers, or adhesives associated with emitting toxic gasses or VOC’s. The only exceptions include the presence of some materials required to meet UL, ETL, CE and CSA safety standards.

• Felt Gaskets: All gaskets are made from felt instead of rubber, which helps seal each component and create highly effective air filtration. Felt gaskets have the ability to further reduce off-gassing as well. Additionally, these units have fully sealed filter, motor, and electrical chambers.

• PCB Free: Electrical equipment often includes capacitors that are made from PCBs; polychlorinated biphenyls. PCBs have been associated with a variety of types of cancers. Airpura capacitors are all made with entirely PCB-free materials.

• Pure Air Flow: Engineered so that the units motor is positioned away from the flow of air. Most air purifiers are designed in a way that as air passes over the motor, new impurities are picked up before exiting the unit. Airpura air purifiers were designed to prevent this.
