Harnessing the power of cutting-edge nano-technology developed by NASA, Airpura’s ‘TitanClean’, a Titanium Dioxide Photocatalytic Oxidizer, actively breaks down organic compounds, including the cell walls of viruses, bacteria, mold and other pathogenic microorganisms — transforming them into harmless byproducts like carbon dioxide and water vapor.

Airpura’s PCO (photocatalytic oxidation) technology achieves this by creating reactive oxygen species (ROS) such as hydroxyl radicals and superoxide ions with strong oxidative properties, ultimately harnessing the power of light and chemistry to effectively neutralize pathogens.

The Airpura P700 also features a strategically positioned UV-C Germicidal Lamp. This 17-inch U-shaped lamp is located in the filter chamber where it destroys microorganisms caught within the HEPA/Carbon media.

This Super-HEPA advancement offers heightened filtration capabilities by removing an impressive 99.99% of particles as small as 0.3 microns.

Upgraded 700 Series

The Airpura P700 is part of the newly upgraded 700 Series from Airpura. The P700 retains the same trusted filtering system of its well-respected predecessor, the P600 model, but with a quieter and more powerful 635 CFM motor, allowing for enhanced performance capabilities.

5-Stage Comprehensive Filtration — Including Super HEPA Upgrade Option:

1. TitanClean Photocatalytic Oxidizer — Leading edge technology dramatically increases the range and degree of chemicals and pathogens that can be neutralized through photocatalytic oxidation. Change every 18 months depending on usage.
2. UV Germicidal Lamp —  Destroys microorganisms and pathogens including bacteria, viruses and mold spores on contact. Bulbs last up to 10,000 hours.
3. Pre-Filter — Grabs and traps large particles such as hair, lint, dust and dander, and in doing so extends the life of the HEPA and carbon filters. It measures 570 sq. inches and 1 inch deep. Change every 12 months and vacuum clean for better performance.
4. Carbon Filter — 18 lbs. of activated carbon in a 2” deep, high-quality carbon bed to absorb airborne chemicals, VOC’s, gaseous vapors and odors. The carbon filter will typically need changing every two years depending on air quality and usage.
5. True HEPA Filter — Choose Between Standard & Super HEPA Filtration
   • P700 Standard HEPA: Equipped with a 40 square foot medical-grade True HEPA filter, the P700 is able to trap up to 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns. Has a lifespan of approximately 5 years.
   • P714 Super HEPA: Upgrade to the P714 Super HEPA filter to remove up to 99.99% of airborne particles that are 0.3 microns in diameter and smaller. This is the recommended option for those with MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity) or those looking to capture the smallest of airborne particulates.

• No Off-Gassing: Built without the use of plastics, rubbers, or adhesives associated with emitting toxic gasses or VOC’s. The only exceptions include the presence of some materials required to meet UL, ETL, CE and CSA safety standards.

• Felt Gaskets: All gaskets are made from felt instead of rubber, which helps seal each component and create highly effective air filtration. Felt gaskets have the ability to further reduce off-gassing as well. Additionally, these units have fully sealed filter, motor, and electrical chambers.

• Metal Housing: Constructed entirely from solid steel on the outside, the reduction of plastic components in favor of metal housing contributes to the decrease in off-gassing. The all metal housing is also a more environmentally friendly material in general as it’s 93% recyclable.

• PCB Free: Electrical equipment often includes capacitors that are made from PCBs; polychlorinated biphenyls. PCBs have been associated with a variety of types of cancers. Airpura capacitors are all made with entirely PCB-free materials.

• Pure Air Flow: Engineered so that the units motor is positioned away from the flow of air. Most air purifiers are designed in a way that as air passes over the motor, new impurities are picked up before exiting the unit. Airpura air purifiers were designed to prevent this.
