The Amaircare Roommaid Portable HEPA air purifier is the perfect all-purpose air purifier that can be taken just about anywhere. Weighing roughly 5 lbs, the Roomaid provides powerful filtration with the convenience of portability. Equipped with an activated carbon and True-HEPA filtration system, the Roomaid is able to soak up and trap a broad range of chemicals, odors, particulates and allergens.

With the addition of the optional VOC filter cartridge, the Roomaid can effectively neutralize heavier concentrations of chemicals and VOC’s including ammonia, formaldehyde and benzene. Heavier chemical and VOC sources include exhaust fumes, fuel fumes, smoke sources, as well as building materials such as paint, pressed wood, carpet and furniture. 

The Roomaid is also the perfect travel companion for any enclosed mode of transportation such as your car, truck or commercial van when you utilize the available Auto Kit. Works exceptionally well at filtering standard air pollution, traffic pollution and off-gassing from new car materials. Plugs into any 12V accessory plug and can be placed under the seat, on the floor board, truck cab or reachable trunk.

3-Stage Comprehensive Filtration – Including Carbon Canister Upgrade Option:

1. Foam Pre-Filter — Foam pre-filter is wrapped around the HEPA filter. Grabs and traps large particles such as hair, lint, pollen and dust and in doing so extends the life of the HEPA and carbon filters. Change every 6 months. Can be washed between replacements. 
2. True-HEPA Filter — Equipped with a 19 sq. ft. True-HEPA filter with the ability to trap up to 99.97% of airborne particles down to 0.3 microns in size. Captures a wide range of fine particulates, including many types of allergens such as dust, pollen, mold spores, pet dander and pesticides. Also filters out pathogens, including viruses and bacteria. Has a lifespan of approximately 2 to 5 years depending on air quality and usage.
3. Activated Carbon Filter — Choose Between Standard or VOC Carbon Filters:
   • Standard Carbon Blanket Filter: Impregnated carbon blanket adsorbs airborne chemicals, odors, VOC’s and gaseous fumes. The carbon blanket filter will typically need changing every 4 months depending on air quality and usage.
   • VOC Carbon Filter Upgrade: 0.91 lbs. of granular activated carbon for the elimination of heavier concentrations of VOC’s, fumes, smoke, airborne chemicals, odors and gases.
