The Airpura T700 is a member of Airpura’s advanced and innovative 700 Series. The T700 model, following in the footsteps of the popular T600 model, takes air filtration to the next level. It maintains all the high-grade filtration features you love, but now boasts a more powerful, yet quieter 635 CFM motor.

The Airpura T700 absorbs and traps the following from your environment in spaces up to 2400 sq. ft:

• Tar: Tar is one of the most dangerous components of cigarette smoke; it is the most cancer-causing element. Once tar is inhaled, it forms a sticky layer inside the lungs, leading to lung disease.
• Tobacco chemicals: Tobacco smoke contains 60 carcinogens and over 4000 chemicals and gasses, such as formaldehyde, ammonia, and benzene.
• Allergens: Cigarette smoke isn’t the only element the Airpura T700 filters. It also clears the air of mold spores, mycotoxins, dust, pollen, and pet dander.

3-Stage Comprehensive Filtration:

1. Tar-Barrier Pre-Filter – Functions similarly to a cigarette filter. This first layer of filter grabs and traps the tar released from cigarette smoke before it clogs the interior of the purifier. You’ll need to change this filter every 6-12 months if using it residentially or in an office environment, and every four weeks in public areas or during heavy commercial use. Measures 570 sq. inches and 1 inch deep.
2. Carbon Filter – 26 lbs. of activated carbon in a 3” deep, high-quality carbon bed. It acts as an absorbing agent to soak up 4000 chemicals from tobacco and other allergens and irritants. It should be changed out at least once a year, but up to every three months with heavy use. Extra large for maximum efficiency. Covers up to a 2400 square foot room.
3. HEPA-Barrier Post-Filter – This third layer is where any carbon dust and additional particulates get trapped. It may last up to two years, but ideally should be changed with each change of the carbon filter

• Felt Gaskets: All gaskets are made from felt instead of rubber, which helps seal each component and create highly effective air filtration. Felt gaskets have the ability to further reduce off-gassing as well. Additionally, these units have fully sealed filter, motor, and electrical chambers.

• Metal Housing: Constructed entirely from solid steel on the outside, the reduction of plastic components in favor of metal housing contributes to the decrease in off-gassing. The all metal housing is also a more environmentally friendly material in general as it’s 93% recyclable.

• PCB Free: Electrical equipment often includes capacitors that are made from PCBs; polychlorinated biphenyls. PCBs have been associated with a variety of types of cancers. Airpura capacitors are all made with entirely PCB-free materials.

• Pure Air Flow: Engineered so that the units motor is positioned away from the flow of air. Most air purifiers are designed in a way that as air passes over the motor, new impurities are picked up before exiting the unit. Airpura air purifiers were designed to prevent this.
