The Airpura P600 PLUS is one of the most technologically advanced air purifiers on the market. With five stages of filtration, the P600 PLUS is able to trap, oxidize and break down a wide spectrum of airborne particulates, chemicals, gaseous vapors, VOC’s and pathogens. 

Airpura’s TitanClean is a Titanium Dioxide Photocatalytic Oxidizer, using state-of-the-art nano-technology to safely and effectively break down the molecular bonds of organic pollutants. This process turns harmful compounds into much smaller and safer compounds such as carbon dioxide and water vapor.

Airpura’s PCO (photocatalytic oxidation) technology accomplishes this by generating reactive oxygen species (ROS) like hydroxyl radicals and superoxide ions, which possess potent oxidative capabilities. This process harnesses the synergy of light and chemistry to efficiently eliminate pathogens.

Another unique component of the P600 PLUS filtration system is the UV Germicidal Lamp. Strategically positioned inside the filter chamber, the 17-inch U-shaped lamp is able to kill microorganisms as they are trapped within the filters. Many other manufacturers place their UV lamps within the airflow allowing pathogens to escape back out into the air. 

With the addition of TiO2 (titanium dioxide) coated True HEPA filtration, The P600 PLUS model provides 3 times the photocatalytic oxidation capacity of the Airpura P600, allowing for increased levels of gas and chemical abatement. Especially effective in environments where these compounds are consistently elevated or are present in large quantities.

5-Stage Comprehensive Filtration — Including P614 PLUS Super HEPA Upgrade Option:

1. TitanClean Photocatalytic Oxidizer — Leading-edge technology dramatically increases the range and degree of chemicals and pathogens that can be neutralized through photocatalytic oxidation. Change every 18 months depending on usage.
2. UV Germicidal Lamp —  Destroys microorganisms and pathogens including bacteria, viruses and mold spores on contact. Bulbs last up to 15,000 hours. 
3. Pre-Filter — Grabs and traps large particles such as hair, lint, dust and dander, and in doing so extends the life of the HEPA and carbon filters. It measures 570 sq. inches and 1 inch deep. Change every 12 months and vacuum clean for better performance. 
4. Carbon Filter — 18 lbs. of activated carbon in a 2” deep, high-quality carbon bed to absorb airborne chemicals, VOC’s, gaseous vapors and odors. The carbon filter will typically need changing every two years depending on air quality and usage.
5. True HEPA Filter with TiO2 (titanium dioxide) — Choose Between Standard & Super HEPA Filtration:
   • P600 PLUS Standard HEPA: Equipped with a 40 square foot medical-grade True HEPA filter with titanium dioxide coated surface, the P600 PLUS is able to trap up to 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns. Has a lifespan of approximately 5 years.
   • P614 PLUS Super HEPA: Upgrade to the P614 Super HEPA filter with titanium dioxide coated surface, to remove up to 99.99% of airborne particles that are 0.3 microns in diameter and smaller. This is the recommended option for those with MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity) or those looking to capture the smallest of airborne particulates.

• No Off-Gassing: Built without the use of plastics, rubbers, or adhesives associated with emitting toxic gasses or VOC’s. The only exceptions include the presence of some materials required to meet UL, ETL, CE and CSA safety standards.

• Felt Gaskets: All gaskets are made from felt instead of rubber, which helps seal each component and create highly effective air filtration. Felt gaskets have the ability to further reduce off-gassing as well. Additionally, these units have fully sealed filter, motor, and electrical chambers.

• Metal Housing: Constructed entirely from solid steel on the outside, the reduction of plastic components in favor of metal housing contributes to the decrease in off-gassing. The all metal housing is also a more environmentally friendly material in general as it’s 93% recyclable.

• PCB Free: Electrical equipment often includes capacitors that are made from PCBs; polychlorinated biphenyls. PCBs have been associated with a variety of types of cancers. Airpura capacitors are all made with entirely PCB-free materials.

• Pure Air Flow: Engineered so that the units motor is positioned away from the flow of air. Most air purifiers are designed in a way that as air passes over the motor, new impurities are picked up before exiting the unit. Airpura air purifiers were designed to prevent this.
