The AllerAir AirMedic Pro 5 Plus is a step up in performance from the entry-level AirMedic Pro 5. Also a great all-purpose air purifier for your home, office or workshop, but with a deeper carbon bed for when chemicals and odors are the main concern. Featuring 18 lbs. of Activated Carbon in combination with Super-HEPA filtration, the AirMedic Pro 5 Plus removes a wide range of airborne chemicals, allergens, particulates and odors — leaving you with only healthy, pollutant-free air.
The AirMedic Pro 5 Plus can also be customized with a UV Germicidal Lamp for an additional layer of protection against pathogenic microorganisms such as bacteria, mold spores and viruses. Covers up to 1500 sq. ft.

The Super-HEPA filter removes 99.99% of airborne particles down to 0.1 microns, while the thick 3” carbon bed allows for increased dwell time, and thus more efficient filtration of airborne chemicals, gasses and VOC’s.
You have the option of adding a UV Germicidal Lamp, which offers an increased level of protection against bacteria, antigens, mold spores, viruses and other pathogenic microorganisms.

3-Stage Comprehensive Filtration – Including Carbon Upgrade & UV Option:
- Pre-Filter — Grabs and traps large particles such as hair, lint, pollen, dust and dander, and in doing so extends the life of the HEPA and carbon filters. Change every 3 to 5 months, and/or vacuum clean.
- Super-HEPA Filter — Equipped with a US made, Super-HEPA H14 filter with the ability to trap up to 99.99% of airborne particles down to 0.1 microns in size. Has a lifespan of approximately 2 to 5 years depending on air quality and usage.
- Activated Carbon Filter — Choose Between Two Blends of Carbon:
- Exec Carbon: 18 lbs. of activated, granular carbon in a 3” deep bed. Adsorbs airborne chemicals, odors, VOC’s and gaseous fumes. The carbon filter will typically need changing every 3 years depending on air quality and usage.
- Vocarb Carbon Upgrade: Vocarb Carbon is an impregnated carbon blend specifically designed to neutralize heavier concentrations of VOC’s, odors, gasses and airborne chemicals such as formaldehyde and benzene.
*UV Germicidal Lamp Option — 10-watt UV light destroys the DNA of microorganisms and pathogens including bacteria, viruses and mold spores on contact.
