Engineered for environments with chronically elevated and persistent levels of smoke pollution, the AllerAir AirMedic Pro 6 Ultra S is the optimal choice for those looking for maximum smoke related air filtration.

Equipped with 40 lbs. of activated carbon and a Super-HEPA filter, the AirMedic Pro 6 Ultra S has the ability to soak up and trap tar, odors, fine particles and chemicals associated with all sources of smoke pollution. This would include smoke resulting from wildfires and wood burning, as well as second-hand tobacco, cigar and marijuana sources.

The Super-HEPA filter removes 99.99% of airborne particles down to 0.1 microns, while the extra large 5” deep carbon bed allows for maximum dwell time, and thus more efficient filtration of even the heaviest concentrations of smoke related pollutants such as formaldehyde, ammonia and benzene.

The AirMedic Pro 6 Ultra S has the additional option of adding a UV Germicidal Lamp, which offers an increased level of protection against bacteria, antigens, mold spores, viruses and other pathogenic microorganisms.

3-Stage Comprehensive Filtration – Including UV Lamp Option:

1. Tar-Trapping Pre-Filter – Grabs and traps sticky tar particles to prevent clogging of the interior filters. You’ll need to replace every 2 to 3 months depending on air quality and usage. 
2. Super-HEPA Filter — Equipped with a US made, Super-HEPA H14 filter with the ability to trap up to 99.99% of airborne particles down to 0.1 microns in size. Captures a wide range of fine particulates, including many types of allergens such as dust, pollen, mold spores, pet dander and pesticides. Also filters out pathogens, including viruses and bacteria. Has a lifespan of approximately 2 to 5 years depending on air quality and usage.
3. Smoke Eater Carbon Blend — 40 lbs. of specially formulated carbon blend in a 5” deep bed. Adsorbs smoke, smoke by-products, airborne chemicals, odors, VOC’s and gases. The carbon filter will typically need changing every 3 years depending on air quality and usage.

*UV Germicidal Lamp Option — 10-watt UV light destroys the DNA of microorganisms and pathogens on contact, including bacteria, viruses and mold spores.
